FAQs
Why can’t I find more information on your company?
Many businesses invest a lot of money on self-promoting and trying to “brand their name.” We do recognize that it is important to build a strong company reputation and everyone likes to be recognized. However, as an Advertising/Marketing firm, we only profit if the clients we promote are successful. Therefore, we choose not to invest a lot of time or money on promoting ourselves rather we use that time and money to promote our clients. We believe the reputation of our clients is second to none and if they choose to be affiliated with our organization that speaks volumes about our quality of work and business reputation.
Do you provide benefits?
Yes. Most companies do not “give” benefits rather they allow you to participate in a group plan that allows participants to receive a discounted group rate on insurance. Insurance is a cost and most companies take the premiums from the employee’s paychecks. We are similar. We do not “give” anyone affiliated with our company any benefits but provide them an opportunity to participate in a program that will give them group rates if they choose to participate. No one is obligated to participate in any group insurance program unless they choose to do so.
How does your company make money?
Most traditional advertising firms are compensated up-front, charge a fee, or negotiate a contract for their services. Since a majority of our clients are in the service industry we are a little different. We allow our clients to compensate us for our services with their unused inventory. Since we have no up-front inventory cost, we can offer deep discounts. We promote our clients by selling directly to the public their unused inventory. This turns a profit for us and drives traffic into our clients’ doors creating a “win win” situation and a great partnership.
How fast do people advance?
All the advancement in our company is performance based. There are certain requirements (not quotas), that need to be met before one can advance. All requirements to advance are clear and precise, and everyone associated with the company that is striving for advancement knows what needs to be done in order to move forward. Although loyalty is a characteristic we admire, we do not reward years of service (seniority) only performance.
Why don’t you list the names of your biggest clients on your website?
Although we are very proud to be affiliated with all our clients and would love to brag about it, certain companies and associations such as: Fortune 500 companies, MLB, NFL, NHL, and NBA all have specific sponsorships and licensing agreements with certain companies. In no way do we want to compromise any of our clients existing business relationships and we make it a business practice to avoid any legal ramifications.
Is travel required?
No. There will be many travel opportunities and there may be financial incentives if choose to do so but no one is ever required to relocate or travel.
Should I apply if I don’t have any sales experience?
Our entry level positions are heavily involved in sales and marketing. Every company in the world is in involved in sales in some form. Sales is a skill that can be taught as long as an applicant is willing to learn. We are NOT a high-pressure sales company and take a lot of pride in generating a lot of income on repeat business. We are willing to teach and train as long as the applicant is willing to get out of his/her comfort zone and put forth the effort.
Are there any creative positions available?
At an entry level, there are no specific “creative” positions. The entry level positions are focused on Sales and Distribution. However, our clients do expect us to be creative in the manner in which we represent them. The reason why they came to our company to begin with is they are looking to separate themselves from their competitors and gain market share. We need creative-minded individuals that are willing to follow a proven system to be successful. If/when an applicant does advance, there will be more creative opportunities.
If I’m not a sports oriented person should I apply?
Yes. It is true we service a lot of professional sports teams. However, sports are seasonal, and a large portion of our portfolio is made up of restaurants, hotels, resorts, spas, travel, and leisure. A vast majority of our clients are places the average person visits every day.
Are there any summer internships available for students?
Yes. We treat our summer interns/associates just like any other staff member. We give them opportunity for advancement, and the ability to participate in a bonus structure just like any other fulltime staff member. We pride ourselves in providing a real-life career experience, and not just another “summer job”. We hope to help build your resume and give valuable insight in the “real world” of Advertising, Marketing, & Sales.
At entry level are sales involved?
Yes. Every company in the world is involved in sales in some form or another, generally offering either a product or service. We are no different. That is how we generate revenue as a company and for our clients. Everyone starts learning the Sales side of our business but our goal is NOT for people to make a career out of sales. We are always looking for people to advance. However we do believe, “you can’t coach a team unless you know how to play all the positions.”
Is there a bonus structure for top performers?
Yes. All the advancement in our company is based on performance. We realize that the driving force behind our company’s success will always be determined by the motivation level of our staff. To continually motivate and reward our staff we do provide a generous bonus structure as well as opportunities to attend leadership conferences and company retreats for select top performers.
Does your company provide training?
Yes. All the tools necessary to be successful in our company are provided to each staff member. We are firm believers in hands on training and the length of training is determined by each individual.
If I have a lot of previous work experience or management/degree will I still start out in entry level?
Yes. We are firm believers that: “you can’t ask someone to do something you aren’t willing to do yourself”. Everyone in our company, even managers, started at entry level. However, for those looking for a career opportunity all of the advancement is based on performance. Therefore each individual determines themselves how long they will actually stay at entry level. If an applicant does have extensive work experience, previous management experience, or a degree related to our field that will only help that individual advance faster.
